Whatever your reason for canceling, Midjourney has thankfully made the process very simple. In this article you'll learn how to cancel your Midjourney subscription as well as how you can potentially get a refund for your last subscription payment.

Things You Should Know

  • You must be signed in to Midjourney's website with your Discord credentials to be able to cancel your subscription.
  • Click on the Manage Sub page in order to cancel your subscription.
  • If you have used less than 20 GPU minutes since your last payment, you are eligible for a refund if you cancel.
  1. Go to https://www.midjourney.com/auth/signin/ in a web browser and sign in. Click the yellow Sign In with Discord button underneath the animated Midjourney header. You'll sign in with your Discord credentials.
  2. You must allow Midjourney and Discord to connect so you can access your account settings.

  3. The option has an icon that looks like a pencil drawing on a square of paper.
  4. It's in the same pane as your billing and payment info.
  5. Once you cancel your Midjourney subscription, you'll be able to keep using the subscription until the start of your next billing cycle.[1]
    • If you cancel and you've used less than 20 GPU minutes, you are eligible for a refund on your latest subscription payment. If you're able to get a refund, Midjourney will ask on the confirmation screen if you want to cancel at the end of your subscription period or cancel immediately to get a refund.[2]
    • Cancelling your Midjourney subscription means you won't have access to Midjourney's tools as well as the Discord server once your subscription ends. Your images will not be deleted.
