Midjourney is a popular and powerful AI image generation tool, but you must pay for a subscription to use it. If you realize you don't use your Midjourney subscription very often or it's making too big of a dent in your finances to pay for it every month, you may be interested in canceling your subscription. Whatever your reason for canceling, Midjourney has thankfully made the process very simple. In this article you'll learn how to cancel your Midjourney subscription as well as how you can potentially get a refund for your last subscription payment.

Things You Should Know

You must be signed in to Midjourney's website with your Discord credentials to be able to cancel your subscription.
Click on the Manage Sub page in order to cancel your subscription.
If you have used less than 20 GPU minutes since your last payment, you are eligible for a refund if you cancel.

Go to https://www.midjourney.com/auth/signin/ in a web browser and sign in. Click the yellow Sign In with Discord button underneath the animated Midjourney header. You'll sign in with your Discord credentials.
You must allow Midjourney and Discord to connect so you can access your account settings.

It's in the same pane as your billing and payment info.

Click Confirm Cancellation on the pop up. Once you cancel your Midjourney subscription, you'll be able to keep using the subscription until the start of your next billing cycle.^{[1]
