Every user on the platform X, formerly known as Twitter, has a unique numerical user ID. Some API applications require you to use user IDs instead of usernames to access user information. While X no longer lets you view user IDs on the website or mobile app, you can still find anyone's Twitter/X user ID using a third-party website. This wikiHow article teaches you how to find your user ID on X (Twitter).

Find Your Twitter User ID

While Twitter/X doesn’t make your user ID publicly available, there are a number of online tools you can use to look this up. Tap the profile image of the account you want to look up and check the “@” username. Enter the username into TwiterIdFinder, MediaMister, or another third-party tool.

   Navigate to a user ID look-up tool. Twitter/X doesn’t list an individual’s user ID publicly. However, there are a number of online third-party tools you can use to look up your user ID. The following are some tools you can use:

   Paste the username in the field. Most online user ID look-up tools work very similarly. There should be a bar where you paste the username. Paste it in the bar where it is indicated.
