Kohana Volcano Kohana Volcano is considered the best place to quickly earn gold in Fish It. It’s also a great place to fish for mid-game players who are just leaving Fisherman Island. Head to Kohana Island, then travel through the tunnel system near the village until you find the lava pools inside the volcano. Fish in the lava pools for rare fish—but don’t touch the lava, or you’ll die.^{[1]

But it takes a while to get there—you have to purchase diving gear to reach it, which costs around $75,000. Once you have the diving gear, head to the Lost Isle and dive down into the pool there. Explore the ruins, focusing especially on the Treasure Room and Sisyphus Statue areas.

What rod should I use in Fish It?

Prioritize rods with a Luck boost. Luck will improve your chances of snagging rare fish, making it one of the most important stats in the game. Start out playing with the Luck Rod as soon as you can get it to help you earn cash faster, and only upgrade when you can afford a rod with better Luck.
- Use Enchantments like Empowered I and Leprechaun II to help increase the Luck of your rod even more.^{[15]
