If you’re having a great first date and you already know that you want to see them again, it’s totally appropriate to ask for a second date at the end! You can ask in-person right before you say goodbye, or you can send a follow-up text after you’ve parted ways. In either case, keep things simple, and don’t overthink it. You can’t go wrong with something simple, like, “I had a great time tonight and would love to see you again soon! Do you want to grab dinner together next weekend?”

Do whatever feels right to you! I think there are too many people who are focused on playing games. They think that there's a set way of doing things, or that there's a dating rule book of rules that you have to follow.
