Millie Bobby Brown (now Millie Bonnie Bongiovi) and her husband Jake Bongiovi announced they adopted their daughter in August 2025, though she hasn't clarified why they chose adoption. The best theory for why they adopted is so that Millie can continue her career uninterrupted and maintain a busy filming schedule. In an interview with British Vogue, she said, "I've still got so much more in me. I treat every day like it's going to disappear."
During her appearance on the Smartless podcast, Millie mentioned, "I really want a big family" and that she doesn't "see having your own child as really any different than adopting."
While there are still a lot of questions about their daughter, the Bongiovis have decided to keep her life private until she's ready to decide for herself what she wants to share.

Maybe because she just doesn't want to give birth?... 1. Its a horrifying experience 2. Shes a famous actor and 9-10 months of being out of commission MIGHT affect your career. I mean she is right, adopting is no different than having your own child.
