Is your iPad battery suddenly draining fast? Your iPad battery may be wearing out if it has slow performance and poor battery life. However, there are ways to make your battery last longer. Here's how to fix an iPad battery draining fast.

Fixing an iPad Battery That Drains Too Fast

If your battery drains too fast, enable Low Power Mode in Settings → Battery, and restart your iPad regularly.
Turn off Background App Refresh, disable Bluetooth, and turn on "Reduce Motion".

Restart your iPad.

Turn off your iPad and turn it on again. You can do a force restart, which requires a few extra buttons. Do the following:
- Without a home button:
  - Press and release the volume button closest to the lock button.
