    If you sleep on your side it can cause one eye to swell. If this is the problem, switch to sleeping on your back with your head elevated by a couple of pillows. If this is not the problem it could be an allergy or infection. Hooded eyes would require surgery to correct. I recommend that you see a doctor.

    Steep 2 tea bags in warm water for a few minutes, cool them in the fridge, and then hold them on your eyelids for about 20 minutes. The caffeine and tannins found in most teas will reduce swelling!
