If you're using a computer, you can also download your transaction history and statements to PDF, CSV, and other formats, and check your login activity for unauthorized logins and devices. Read on to learn all the ways to view PayPal activity on your Android, iPhone, iPad, or computer.

- To view your transaction activity in the PayPal app, tap the Activity tab, tap the filter icon (2 sliders), then choose which transactions to display.
- To view transaction activity in a web browser, click the Activity tab, click the filter icon (2 sliders), then choose which activity to view.

Tap Apply Filters to view your filtered activity. This displays only those transactions that meet your filter criteria.
-
Search for a payment (optional). If you want to find a payment sent to or from a particular person or business, you can use the search bar at the top to search by name or email address.[4]
-
Select any transaction to view its details. This is how you can view more detailed date information, as well as names and addresses.
- If you’re not seeing as much detail as you’d like, try viewing your PayPal activity in a web browser.
- To return to the Activity screen, tap the back arrow at the top left corner of the screen.
-
Click the Activity tab at the top of PayPal. When you're logged in to PayPal, you'll see this tab at the top of the screen. Clicking it displays your transaction activity from the past 90 days.[5]

The next time you (or someone else) attempts to log in to this PayPal account using that device, they'll be prompted to use a second login step to complete the login process.
-
Log in to PayPal.com in your web browser. If you use accounting software like QuickBooks that supports PayPal statements, you can view these statements in your web browser on a computer, but not in the mobile app. Before you get started, check your accounting software to find out which types of files it can import.[7]
- PayPal exports these file types: Comma Delineated (.csv), Tab Delineated (.tsv), Quicken (.qif, US$), QuickBooks (.iif), and PDF.
- Export to a PDF if you want to save copies of your statements on your computer.
-
Click the Activity tab at the top of the screen. All PayPal activity from the last 90 days will appear.
-
Click Custom in the left panel. This option allows you to choose a format to download your activity in, as well as the option to select a date range for your reporting.[8]
- If you just want to download PDFs of PayPal statements from a particular month or year, select All Transactions instead, then click the download icon next to your preferred statement.
-
Select the transactions to include. Use the "Transaction type" and "date range" options to choose what to include in your activity report.
-
Select a file type. Click the "Format" menu, then select the type of file you want to download.
- For example, if you want to import your PayPal activity into a spreadsheet program like Google Sheets or Excel, select CSV (Comma Separated Values).[9]
-
Click Create Report to export your data. PayPal will generate your report, and you'll see a notification when it's ready to download.
- Depending on how much data you're including in your report, the generation time will vary. Click the Refresh option on the page to see if your report is ready.
- You'll also receive a notification email from PayPal, as well as a notification in the PayPal mobile app (if installed) when your report is ready to download.
-
Download your report. When the report is ready, you'll see it appear under "Activity reports," and there will be a Download link beside it. Click Download to save the activity to your computer.
- Follow your software’s instructions to import the file you just downloaded. The instructions vary across different programs, but you should see an “Import” option somewhere fairly obvious.
