When someone shares one of your tweets on Twitter (now X) and includes their own thoughts or take, they've "quoted" your tweet. Due to an interface update, the quote tweet feature is now hidden in the "View post engagements" area. This wikiHow article will teach you how to find a list of everyone who quoted your tweet on X, formerly Twitter, using your computer, iPhone, iPad, or Android.

Find Quote Retweets on X

To find who quoted your tweet on Twitter (X), navigate to the post and select the Repost button. In the pop-up menu, select View Post Interactions. Select the Quotes tab to view all your public quote retweets.

  5. 5
Tap the "Quotes" header. This is the middle section, between Liked by and Reposted by.

  1. 1
Can I see which private account quoted my post? Unfortunately, you cannot see which private X account quoted your post/tweet. In the past, you could see how many users quoted your tweet, and if there were fewer posts showing, you could assume private accounts had quoted your post. However, it's still true that you're unable to know who quoted your post if the account is private.
  2. 2
How do I find quoted posts from a private account? If you want to see the quoted posts from a private account, you'll need to request to follow their account and get approved. Otherwise, there is no way to see someone's private tweets.

If someone with a private account quotes your tweet, you will only be able to see what they've said if you follow them and they accept their request. The only other option is to ask someone who follows them to take a screenshot.
