Want to use Instagram on your computer? If you don't have access to your phone or tablet, you can easily log in to Instagram using the website. You'll just need your username, email, or phone number and password. This wikiHow guide teaches you how to sign in to Instagram when you’re on a computer.

Sign in to Instagram on a Computer

To log in to Instagram on a PC or Mac computer, open any web browser and go to instagram.com. Enter your username, email address, or phone number and your password. Click Log in to sign into your Instagram account.

   Go to www.instagram.com in a web browser. You can use Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, or another browser. This will open the login screen.

   • If you're signed into someone else's account, click ☰ in the bottom-left corner and click "Log out" to sign out.https://help.instagram.com/623835647655355
   • If you want to log into multiple Instagram accounts at once, select Switch accounts, and then Log into an existing account.

   Enter your login information. You'll need your phone number, username, or email and your password to log in to Instagram on your PC or Mac.

   • If needed, you can reset your password.

   Click Log in. This is the blue button. You'll be logged into your Instagram account.

   • Instagram is also available for iOS in the App Store and for Android in the Google Play Store.

   Why can't I log into my Instagram account? If you can't log into your Instagram account on your computer, make sure you're entering the correct information. You may have changed your password (or username, email, phone number) recently.

   • If you don't remember your password, you'll need to reset it.
   • If you don't remember the username, email address, or phone number you used, you'll need to contact Instagram support.
   • You may not be able to log in if your account is temporarily locked or disabled. This can happen if your account violates Instagram's terms.

   The Instagram home page isn't loading. If you enter the correct login information and you keep getting redirected back to the sign-in page, the issue may be with your browser. Clear your browser's cookies and cache, and then try again.

   • If this doesn't work, try logging in with another browser.

   Why was my account locked? If your account is locked, you may have had too many failed login attempts (either from yourself or an unauthorized user), used a third-party app with your account, or otherwise violated Instagram's guidelines. To get back in, you'll need to contact Instagram.

   Can I post on Instagram from a computer? Yes, you can post photos, videos, and comments using the Instagram website.

   • To upload a post using the Instagram website, click + Create in the left sidebar, and then select Post. Drag and drop the photo or video in the field, or click Select from computer to browse your files. Once uploaded, you can add captions, tags, and other information similar to the mobile app.
   • To post a comment, navigate to a post. Click the message bubble underneath the post, and then click the Add a comment field on the left side. Enter your comment, and then click Post.

  Unfortunately no. Meta (the company behind Instagram and Facebook) only allows their users to log in to Instagram either using their registered email and password, or though their Facebook account.
