QuestionCan this be played for a birthday surprise?
Community AnswerYes, it definitely can be played as a birthday surprise. -
QuestionCan this be used for little kids?
Community AnswerYes, it can. As long as an adult assists them, things should be fine. I've done this before for my 5-year-old neighbor and her 2-year-old sister while babysitting. -
QuestionHow can I make more creative clues? Because I seem to write the same clues over and over again and so the indoor treasure hunt experience gets a little boring. So are there any ideas?
MyfavoritefoodCommunity AnswerYou could make clues that only a certain person would be able to answer, just make sure that you have a clue for that object hidden somewhere else so that people can find that one too. You could also use a clue such as: Eleanor's favorite food if you are playing with a group of close friends. Use lots of sensory details, such as color, smell, and touch. -
QuestionCan we do it as secret?
ItitiCommunity AnswerSure. This makes it fun especially for kids. It can also make suspense, which is great for treasure hunts. It is a great idea. -
QuestionDo you have ideas for doing it on science themes?
Community AnswerFor different grades, use different items. For example, if your teaching a bunch of nine year olds, try referring to the unit of "acidic and alkaline," try asking them to find items such as acidic type (lemons, coffee, etc.) base (salt , water, etc.) and alkaline (soap , shampoo, etc.). For lower grades like preschool, ask them to find parts of a plant. But, it mostly depends on what grade the children are at. -
QuestionCan kids do this for grown ups?
Community AnswerYes. Many adults would enjoy it. -
QuestionDo you have to dress up like a pirate for a treasure hunt or not?
AheliCommunity AnswerIt depends on what theme you choose. If you decide on a pirate theme, then sure. But otherwise it isn’t mandatory.
