Steps
How to See Your Old Google Profile Pictures
-
1Click or tap on your Google profile icon. From the main Google page (or the Gmail app), just click on your current profile icon at the top-right corner of the page, assuming you’re already logged in. Then, select Manage your Google Account from the menu that appears.[1]
- If you aren’t logged in yet, click the Sign in button that’ll be at the top-right corner of the page, and enter your login credentials when prompted.
-
2Click or tap Personal Info. From the main Google Account page (where you should see a large image of your current profile picture), look to the left at the list of different tabs. Select Personal info; it’ll be the first tab on mobile, or the second tab below Home on a desktop.[2]
- The Personal info page contains information like your name, birthday, and phone number.

4Click the ⋯ menu and select Past profile pictures. First, click the ⋯ (three dots) icon, which is located at the top-right corner of the screen. It opens a “more options” dropdown menu. From there, select Past profile pictures. Google will open a window displaying all of the past profile pictures associated with that account, going from most to least recent![3]
- Desktop: If you’re on a computer, the three dots icon will be vertical (⋮).
- If you want to use one of the old profile pictures again, click on it and then select the Use as profile picture option below.
- If you want to delete a particular profile picture, click on it and select the Delete button.
