Facebook will send you notifications of activity that directly involves you, such as tags, comments, or group activity. These notifications can be checked quickly through the bell icon, and you can view or delete them there. If you aren't getting notifications properly, you'll need to adjust your settings. Here's how to view your Facebook notifications on your iPhone, iPad, Android, or computer.

Seeing All Notifications on Facebook

  • To find your notifications on Facebook, tap the bell icon at the bottom of the app.
  • Tap a notification to read and clear it.
  • To delete a notification, select the three dots next to it and select Delete this notification.

It says I have notifications, but when I go to check, there's nothing there. How do I view them?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
Sometimes there are notifications about pictures or videos you have liked or shared and other times you might see them because other people like your posts. It is always good to log out and log in again. If it is a message, there is an area within the message folder that hides Spam messages, and they may be in there.
